The State Technology Policy Observatory provides non-partisan expertise and analysis both to help state lawmakers craft better policy and to help everyone else understand the changing landscape of technology regulation. Observatory work falls in three categories: Policy analysis: Tracking and analyzing developments and trends in state technology policy. Policy evaluation: Empirically evaluating the effect and effectiveness of enacted state policy. Policy education: Educating lawmakers and other stakeholders on key issues in state technology policy.
